Technology of the Day : Workload Identity Federation
Hey Hacker,
Here's a cool tech that you should know about.
Workload identity federation allows you to configure an Azure AD app registration to trust tokens from an external identity provider (IdP), such as GitHub. Once that trust relationship is created, your software workload can exchange trusted tokens from the external IdP for access tokens from Microsoft identity platform.
This opens up multi-cloud scenarios and the number of applications of such a feature are many.
